    Moody, atmospheric, a sense of time and place.

    I live in small town Saskatchewan, Canada where I can see the horizon for miles. Saskatchewan's Living Skies are a common theme in my paintings. I like to explore other subjects as well and aim to convey a particular mood or atmosphere in each piece through interesting brushwork and palette knife passages. I enjoy the techniques of impressionism and tonalism; usually painting alla prima - wet on wet.
