At Avens Gallery, each artwork is a one-of-a-kind original created by the artist. We take exceptional care to ensure every piece is packaged and shipped safely to its destination. All artwork is professionally packaged and fully insured during transit until it reaches the recipient. Shipping times and costs vary depending on the artwork’s size, weight, destination, and required handling.

Order Processing

From time of receipt, orders are typically prepared and shipped within 1 – 4 business days. Please note we are open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Processing includes professional packaging, arranging insured shipping and preparing documentation, if required, for international shipments. You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking details once your artwork has been dispatched.

Canada: 1–7 business days
United States: 3–10 business days
International destinations: 5–10 business days

Shipping Costs

Avens Gallery ships internationally. Delivery times may vary depending on destination, customs processing, and the size of the artwork. Shipping costs are calculated based on artwork dimensions, weight, packaging requirements, destination, and delivery speed.

Because original artworks often require specialized packaging and insured transport, shipping rates can vary significantly.

Final shipping costs are calculated before shipment and communicated during the order process.

Packaging

Every artwork is carefully prepared to ensure safe delivery. Packaging methods may include protective wrapping, reinforced boxes, corner protection, and custom packaging for large works.

Insurance Coverage

All shipments are fully insured until they reach the recipient. If damage occurs during transit, the shipment is covered by insurance arranged by Avens Gallery.

Receiving Your Artwork

To ensure insurance coverage, recipients should not accept packages if the shipping box is visibly damaged. Photographs of the packaging and any visible damage should be taken and shared with Avens Gallery immediately.

Damaged Shipments

If a shipment arrives damaged, photograph the package and artwork immediately and contact Avens Gallery within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and images of the damage.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International shipments may be subject to import duties, customs fees, or local taxes. These charges are determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the buyer.
