Artist’s Statement
Jon Prom is an Alberta-based Landscape Artist. He connects on canvas through various mediums including oil, acrylic, paint enhancing materials, and epoxy to create stirring pieces of artwork that have been curated for private collections and custom commissioned pieces.
In 2021, JonProm Art was created and painting as an artist became his full-time career purpose after many years of learning paralleling skills and techniques as a car painter and wrapper. As an intrinsically innovative person, Jon is continuously creating new artwork with diverse mediums, unique techniques, and creative processes.Biography
Jon Prom, as an emerging artist, connects on canvas through various mediums including oil, watercolour, paint enhancing materials, and epoxy to create stirring pieces of artwork that have been curated for private collections and custom commissioned pieces.
Much of his artwork is inspired by the outdoors and vivid memories, whether a single iridescent feather floating from the open sky, the perpetual engine hum below a vibrant evening metro skyline, a warm ray of sunshine on a vast mountain view, or whatever the day presents to Jon.
With his passion for nature and the creative spark it provides, he relocated to Alberta Canada in 2021 and expands his pool of inspiring experiences through many summits and hikes with his wife and two dogs. After almost two decades of creating, painting as an artist became his full-time career purpose after many years of learning paralleling skills and techniques as a car painter and wrapper.
As an intrinsically innovative person, Jon is continuously creating new artwork with diverse mediums, unique techniques, and creative processes.
